GCC Patent Office Introduces WIPO Publish System for Electronic Publishing of Patent Applications

In adherence to a memorandum of understanding between the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the GCC patent office launched the WIPO Publish System. This system, aligning with international standards, facilitates electronic publishing of patent applications and achieves goals such as streamlining data exchange with patent offices in GCC states and other countries. The system also supports advanced searching in international patent applications in both Arabic and English. The launch involved the participation of the Director General of the Office, directors, and specialists, along with WIPO experts present both at the office and remotely via video communication.
