    Notice from MoEc Industrial Property Department || Annuity Fee in UAE

    We would like to draw your attention that the MoEc in UAE now collects annuity of patents, utility models and industrial designs according to the new fee schedule approved by the cabinet which is published on 13 January 2024.

    MoEc reaffirms that all annuity payments of zero amount made in advance (which is system error) are not valid.

    The applicants will be asked again to pay the correct amount of annuity for zero amount annuity paid in advance in the old system once the due date is coming.

    In light of the above, all annuity fees due in November 2024 and beyond must be repaid with the correct official fee.
