Oman IP Office Ends Sub-Agent Submissions
The trademark office in Oman will not accept the sub-agencies (SUB-POWER) in submitting applications for the registration of trademarks and patents and all intellectual property applications submitted to the National Intellectual Property Office in Oman by all agents. Therefore, the powers of attorney must be submitted directly from the applicant to the agent registered in the Sultanate of Oman to ensure the correct of the legal procedures followed.
Therefore, please work to correct all applications submitted before , and ensure that direct power of attorney is submitted by the concerned applicants for all applications submitted to avoid canceling of the submitted applications and can work to correct their conditions within a maximum period of three months.
