Advancing Economic Ties: Japan and UAE Hold Third Round of EPA Negotiations in Tokyo
The third round of negotiations for the Japan–UAE Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) was held in Tokyo from June 2 to 4.
It covered a wide range of key areas, including intellectual property, digital trade, trade in goods and services, rules of origin, competition policy, and customs procedures.
The Japanese delegation was led by Takahashi Katsuhiko, Ambassador for International Economic Affairs, while the UAE delegation was headed by Juma Al Kait, Assistant Undersecretary for International Trade Affairs.
