KSA – Saudi Arabia and WIPO Strengthen Judicial Collaboration
The Saudi Ministry of Justice has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to cooperate in publishing judicial rulings related to intellectual property. The agreement, concluded in Geneva in early November 2025, marks a key milestone in promoting transparency and expanding access to legal information in Saudi Arabia.
This collaboration reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to developing a strong IP legal framework and enhancing judicial excellence through specialized legislation. It will also provide IP owners and legal professionals with valuable insight into how Saudi courts interpret and apply IP laws—supporting more effective enforcement strategies and stronger portfolio management across the local market.
