    Egypt – Increase in Official Fees for Patents and Plant Varieties

    The Egyptian Intellectual Property Authority has issued Decision No. 138 of 2025, which supplements Decision No. 26 of 2025, outlining adjustments to official fees for certain patent procedures in Egypt. Additionally, plant variety-related fees have been updated in accordance with Decision No. 140.

    Effective 15 October 2025, these decisions introduce an increase in the official fees payable for various patent and plant variety services. The revised fee schedule was published on the official EGPO portal on the same date.
