    Egypt – Update of Official IP Fees and Introduction of New Services

    The Egyptian Intellectual Property Authority has issued Decisions No. 64 and 65 of 2026, revising the official fees and introducing new services. These changes entered into force on 05 April 2026.

    The key updates are summarized as follows:

    – A new service has been introduced allowing the Specialized Search Service specifically for companies.

    – Additional New fixed official fees have been imposed on services provided by the Central Administration concerning Trademarks, Trade names, Industrial designs, Geographical indications. These fees apply in addition to the currently applicable official fees.

    – A new service has been introduced allowing the issuance of official copies of earlier expert reports, subject to additional fees in addition to the currently applicable official fees.

    All additional fees are applied as fixed amounts in addition to the applicable official fees and stamp duties.

    These changes reflect a broader update to the fee structure and service offerings of the Authority.
