    Oman – Launches the Court of Investment and Commerce

    Please be informed that, effective October 1, 2025, all lawsuits have been officially transferred to the Court of Investment and Commerce, in accordance with Royal Decree No. 35/2025, which outlines the following:

    A court named the Court of Investment and Commerce is hereby established under the authority of the Supreme Judicial Council, with its headquarters located in the Governorate of Muscat.

    Courts shall continue to review lawsuits, orders, and requests that now fall under the jurisdiction of the Court of Investment and Commerce, provided they were filed before the effective date of the law (October 1, 2025).
    A decision governing the operations and administrative structure of the Court of Investment and Commerce shall be issued by the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council.
