    Egypt – Increase in Official Fees for Patents, Plant Varieties, and Copyrights

    The Egyptian Intellectual Property Authority (EGIPA) has issued Decision No. 138 of 2025, which supplements Decision No. 26 of 2025, outlining adjustments to official fees for certain patent procedures in Egypt.

    EGIPA has also issued Decision No. 140, concerning fees related to plant varieties, and Decision No. 141, regarding copyright fees.

    Effective 15 October 2025, these decisions introduce an increase in the official fees payable for various patent, plant variety, and copyright services. The revised fee schedule was published on the official EGPO portal on the same date.
