    Libya: Update on Electronic Trademark Publication System

    We are pleased to announce that the Libyan Commercial Registry Department is currently publishing trademarks electronically through its official website. The latest released batch covers publication numbers 55261 to 57597. In line with local regulations, a strict 30-day opposition period applies to all newly published marks, starting from their exact date of publication.

    Please note that a significant portion of previously accepted trademarks with numbers prior to 55261 remain unpublished. The authorities have not yet clarified the order or mechanism they will use to handle this remaining backlog.

    Our team is closely following up on these registry updates and awaiting formal guidance regarding these older, unpublished filings. We will continue to track the situation diligently and share updates as soon as official information becomes available.
