Qatar – WIPO Announces Reduced Trademark Fees for Qatar
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has announced revised individual fee amounts for designating Qatar under the Madrid Protocol. These new, lower fees will take effect on November 9, 2025. This change will reduce the cost of securing and maintaining international trademark protection in Qatar.
Summary of Fee Changes (Per Class):
• International Application / Subsequent Designation:
o Old Fee: 1,127 CHF
o New Fee: 984 CHF
• Renewal of International Registration:
o Old Fee: 876 CHF
o New Fee: 765 CHF
These new amounts will automatically apply to any international applications, subsequent designations, or renewals processed on or after November 9, 2025.
